Positive teams are those who thrive in a creative workplace environment. Being creative at work can be beneficial to businesses, as it helps foresee some positive changes such as effective problem-solving approaches, more innovative marketing strategies, productive workforce, higher self development prospects and more capable leaders.
Innovation is just another business process waiting to be standardized. Once we crack the “genetic code” of innovation, it will be achievable by all businesses, and will be taught in schools alongside other management science courses like risk mitigation or strategic planning.

I believe we are all inclined to innovate and problem-solve within our own space, so empowering employees to see the workplace as an extension of that space can give them the confidence they need to bring new ideas to the table.[/cmsmasters_text][/cmsmasters_column][/cmsmasters_row][cmsmasters_row data_shortcode_id=”is61a8rzzr” data_padding_bottom=”50″ data_padding_top=”0″ data_bg_parallax_ratio=”0.5″ data_bg_size=”cover” data_bg_attachment=”scroll” data_bg_repeat=”no-repeat” data_bg_position=”top center” data_color=”default” data_bot_style=”default” data_top_style=”default” data_padding_right=”3″ data_padding_left=”3″ data_width=”boxed”][cmsmasters_column data_width=”1/1″][cmsmasters_heading shortcode_id=”iw5j43ks5k” type=”h4″ font_size=”18″ font_weight=”700″ font_style=”normal” text_align=”left” margin_top=”0″ margin_bottom=”10″ animation_delay=”0″]Make innovation cool[/cmsmasters_heading][cmsmasters_text animation_delay=”0″]Another way businesses can encourage innovation is to make it “cool.” Promoting opportunities for employees to try new and fun things in the workplace—as well as offering rewards for innovative activities outside the workplace—teaches that experimentation, creativity and exploration are worthwhile pursuits.[/cmsmasters_text][/cmsmasters_column][/cmsmasters_row][cmsmasters_row data_shortcode_id=”5s9ambjsts” data_padding_bottom=”50″ data_padding_top=”0″ data_bg_parallax_ratio=”0.5″ data_bg_size=”cover” data_bg_attachment=”scroll” data_bg_repeat=”no-repeat” data_bg_position=”top center” data_color=”default” data_bot_style=”default” data_top_style=”default” data_padding_right=”3″ data_padding_left=”3″ data_width=”boxed”][cmsmasters_column data_width=”1/1″][cmsmasters_heading shortcode_id=”q9wzrkqopq” type=”h4″ font_size=”18″ font_weight=”700″ font_style=”normal” text_align=”left” margin_top=”0″ margin_bottom=”10″ animation_delay=”0″]You want to be different, so be different already![/cmsmasters_heading][cmsmasters_text animation_delay=”0″]

We demand innovation from the workforce, yet many businesses are still frightened by ideas, behaviors or lifestyles that break with tradition or conventional wisdom. Businesses ask people to innovate, but only within the set paradigm.

To truly encourage an innovative and “different” kind of culture and thinking, you have to break free from this trap.
